Thanks for posting that, alpha. :)
Just a wee update to the format of the event, after some discussion with the venue.
(There will be an official announcement once we have the details sorted) The Factory aren’t happy with a load of people staying overnight in the building (insurance and what-not) so everyone will have to leave at around 8 – 9pm each night. You can return at around 9am each morning. Teams are welcome to work on their games overnight (because, in fairness, we can’t stop ye! )
The contest will officially end on Sunday evening now, instead of Sunday morning. The most significant change for contestants is that ye get extra time to write your games and you can go home at night to sleep (if you wish!)
It works out a little better for everyone now, I think. Extra time to play around with and less sleep-deprived and caffeine crazed developers zombing (zombieing?) around the place! :D
If ye have any further questions or comments or whatnot, get in touch with me via the address on the post above. :)

A Games JAM with sleeping in it, hmm i dont know about this. I mean one of the best parts of the global games jam in Griffith has always been going 3 days without any sleep and the tenuous grasp on reality i have by the last day.
But i guess i will give this "sleep" a try to be fair. Looking forward to it now. Got two other joining me but if anybody else wants to join up give me a shout on here.

It’s a bit controversial, I know! But GameJams are all about seeing what you can accomplish when faced with a challenge. 8)

Will encourage my former students and general game related peeps to get involved in this. Might not be able to make it myself though :(
