Hotels in London are ridiculous. If you want to stay somewhere that won’t cost you a fortune then you’ll end up in some dodgy east end bed and breakfast. Where will you be staying, Nifty? Did you get a good price?
Have fun all! :)

What part of London is it in?
Have a look at http://www.londontown.com/, I used it to find a hotel when I went over and we got a great deal on a lovely place for the trip.

I’m staying at http://www.the-generator.co.uk/london/homepage/generatorlondon.html with 2 friends. I’m flying in on the monday, have tuesday free except for the scholarship orientation (which unfortunately is timed in such a way that I can’t attend the tutorials that day), then conference and drinks for 2 days & nights, and then I’m taking a break before college by stayin on until the sunday.

Just to say, I’m back, I’m in one piece (or at least all pieces are accounted for) and that it was great.
I’ll be doing a write for the IGDA so you’ll get more details there, but yeah twas brilliant, the single best use of time was the IGDA part on the last night, I’ve got a wad of business cards to respond to.
Special thanks to whoever (I’m sure they’ll remain anonymous) picked my name from the list and awarded me the scholarship, I can’t begin to describe the difference its made so far, and can’t imagine what this will mean to me within as little as a years time.

Well in that case…. hmm expect a sh*t storm of opinion when the evening keynote address from wednesday get written up somewhere. Keep you ears peeled for some news from the physics end of the industry (that being said I haven’t checked all the news outlets yet so you might already know), we had an exclusive announcement at the IGDA party on thursday night (think shindig with free drinks and a raffle).
Ooh and most of all expect a knock on these doors sometime soon as Rudy Gerronimo is planning on visiting dublin in the near future.
Actually there’s loads of stuff but I should wait for a shindig…
And in jobs news Climax and Blitz are on a big recruitment push

Yeah a glance through edge would give that impression. SEGA Racing Studio is on a big hire up at the minute, so if anyone is interested its worth a look. Top notch studio.
