Nintendo’s titles feature prominently (Mario Kart at #1!!!).
GTA at #3???
Halo at #6??? (Sorry, but for me Halo was just a GoldenEye remake, with a warthog…)
Res Evil IV at #7?
Street Fighter II surely should be further up the charts than #9. Surely!
Anyway, I’m sure this list has been written with the sole purpose of starting flame-wars on bulletin boards by fanboys.
wait a minute….doh!

I disagree with a lot of this list, but I’ll hold my tongue :)

Oh. Here was me thinking it was the actual brewery that put the list together. I had my dry punchline all prepared…
"Carlsberg don’t make irrelevant games lists, but if they did they’d be a damn sight better than this one."

How about a "Game Developers.ie" Top 10/20/50/100 games of all time?
I suppose it should be a stand-alone thread, and maybe a poll.
Or should it be top 10 games of the 80’s, 90’s, and so on?
Or by platform?

I’m glad to say I’ve played about 90% of that list through the years, I’m surprised Ico wasn’t higher considering what a cult favourite it is, and shadow of collossus isn’t on the list.
But for anyone too young to remember, mario kart changed what the snes was, it deserves to be number 1, tetris was the best game for years on the gameboy and it had the link cable so you could play one on one against a mate in the schoolyard, gta was so much craic running over all the little guys, super mario world was and still is one of the best platformers.
metropolis street racer should have been on it though, why haven’t car games kept the feature where the time it is on your console is the time its in your game. it was cool playing tokyo at dawn, san francisco at night, and london during the day.
