Hi folks. just a wee question.
generally… would most development houses have in house composers… or would most composers be outsourced for a particular project.

most studios would have an audio specialist (or two) who may/may not also compose the music, depending on their backgrounds and experience. It also depends on the title being developed, the budget, etc. For some titles ther in-house person’s abilioties may be good enough, for some (e.g. licensed titles) their abilities/styles may not suit
