Hi guys,

As part of the survey over at http://www.gamedevelopers.ie/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6667, I am also going to be releasing some other information from my research into the irish games industry.

If you want to have the excel for a college project, report etc, which contains all the source data (official statistics), please send me a pm with your email and i’ll send it to you.

This takes a view that the Irish retail sales market is 7% of the overall UK market, which is a conservative number to go with, based on my experience from asking people in the UK. Exchange rates are from ecb, demographics are from the various official statistics offices.

retail estimates, and I don’t think they include all the new sales revenues. ie virtual points, DLC, android/iphone mobile apps which account for an additional amount on top of this.
