Well, its time to pimp myself….
Some of you already know me from my GD.ie activity and shindig appearances. I’m a freelance game\level designer living and working in Berlin. I left Ireland about 10 years ago to get into the games industry (which was not really existing at the time in Ireland) and I’ve worked at quite a few studios since then.
I’m busy for the next few months but I’m eager to work with new Irish studios in the not too design future, hence my interest in connecting with people and trying to make GD.ie better =)
I’ve updated my linkedin page, but I’ve yet to create a website for my one man company (10243 Ltd). Its on the list of things to do so I can easily share examples of my work and more information.
I’ll be reaching out to start-ups and studios in Ireland offering my services and trying to increase awareness of my company & profile. Feel free to contact me or connect via LinkedIn if you are interested in working together or if you have any relevant questions. I can travel to Ireland for extended periods of time but I’ll obviously be working remotely from Berlin (thanks internet!).

Hi man, I too left ireland in 2008 for an education in art. My plan was to attend Teeside university games design too, but thats on the back burner.
Anyway, I am currently running a public awareness campaign for ireland and I am looking for people to be a part of it. hit me up a PM, checked out your linked in but, can’t add without email.

Gotcha! What county are you in? I’m in Galway working on this ‘campaign’, I’d also like to form a team of like minded people to work on indie type titles. Bearing in mind I personally do not have an awful lot of experience at the moment in creating games, I’m currently working on improving my own skills and picking up on programming bit by bit (albeit slowly).
