Open Emotion Studios are looking for experienced art staff for an upcoming venture alongside a large scale Swedish AAA publisher. We are looking for two artists/animators for full time positions to work on an upcoming title for up to three years with the potential to stay on as permanent staff.
One artist/animator is required for a lead position and will be expected to find the necessary art direction for the game which will require fantasy illustrations with contemporary and classical religious overtones. The other artist will be required to work alongside our current art team in a general art position and may be required to do some illustration, animation, 3D modelling and UI design.
This is an exciting opportunity to break into the video game industry in Ireland and work with some very talented people on a large scale project.
Contact Paddy Murphy at paddymurphy@openemotionstudios.com if you are interested – please provide portfolios and any new work with art styles similar to "Magic the Gathering" but with a religious vibe would help your application.
Thanks.

Cheers Noxy – It can be quite difficult to get artists/animators. But hopefully we can get them as it’s kinda essential for the project… Anyhow, cheers for forwarding it one :)
Rock N Roll,
Paddy M.

It’s great to see some art and design roles opening up. I’ll pass the word on to some of my old college friends, one or two of whom are exceptional character artists.
