Looking for some feedback!

Hey guys, myself and two other students from BCFE have put together a small summer project "The driven dead" that we would love a bit of feedback on! Why is there a gun? I just run over things. Is it needed later in the game for something?

I didn’t know fuel was going to run out, that was not explained anywhere, so I didn’t know what the goal of the game was until I died (missed the collectible fuel icons as I was running over things).

Maybe you get fuel or ammo back from running over zombies?

Why do I die if I’m in a car? The zombies cant get me….make it a dude on foot :p

I got to the gate, it was closed so I shot at it and rammed it. Nothing happened. So I sat there until the fuel ran out. What gives?

Yeah the gun was put in last minute but we will be adding a health bar for the car so when you ram zombies you get damaged so that will make players rely on the gun a bit more.

I will be adding more info into the game about fuel and explain why you die too.

As for dying in the car, we were going for the whole "You didn’t make it and the zombies overran the quarantine zones" playcard (need to make that more clear too) lol

and finally the gate closes if you don’t make it in time (there is a warning at the start of each level stating how long you have until the gate closes), we will be adding more time to each level too as crashing totally slows the game down and if you crash more than twice it is hard to try complete the level. Hope this info helps.

Getting to the gate and not being able to do anything makes Ivan :(

You just sit there while the fuel runs out and you die. boo-urns!

I sorta like the look of this.. but im curious did you give up on the project?
Would be interested to see how it developed.
