      So reports TeamXecuter (brought to my knowledge by the IPKat).

      Note that this has yet to be verified from a more credible source.

      For reference, the UK has hitherto considered these to be copyright-infringing devices, so this *if verified* is a total about-face of case law. Note also, that Justice Jacob is one of the most respected IP-specialised Judges (deservedly so).

      Hotter than hot issue, that warrants a heads up in this section, as the UK is one of the largests markets in Europe (if not the largest), and the timing of this decision could have far-reaching implications, i.e. at the onset of a global recession affecting consumer spending (beginning with leisure spending, of course).

      Not anymore, turns out it was just a procedural slip-up by the prosecution

      Sony, M$soft and Nintendo can sleep soundly :wink:
