More often Updates!

Sometimes i can go for 2-3 weeks without checkin gamedevelopers.ie because of work etc, and when i come to the site, im sad to see that the feature has remained the same as 3 weeks ago!

I dont know how often its updated, but id love to see it updated more often!

Im thriving for more info on the game industry in ireland so this is my primary source!

hi Paul,

I am afraid given present resources our features are only updated once a month, usually at the beginning of the month.

If we secure more funding and get more journalists and writers from the community involved I guess we could move to more regular features..

Yes I think we need to make a few links like that ..

at it stands there are about five issues we are looking at presently:

1. performance and moving to a commercial server which will hopefully deal with the empty pages, extra numbers and info at the top of pages etc..
2. information architecture – some redesigning to make the site easier to use
3. forum threads – some reformatting and new threads..
4. contributors – recruiting more writers and stringers who will submit news and features…
5. funding…working with existing and new private and public partners

anyone with any ideas…feel free to share them..
