Looking around in town today, the HMV/Gamestop offer of an elite, blue dragon and Bioshock for 449 is freekin sweet. Wonder how long that will last. Are all elites equipped with the new CPU/GPU chips and red ring prevention?

No, the Elites have the new Zephyr motherboards which aim to solve some of the Red Ring Of Death problems by tinkering with the original mobo design and improving the cooling around the GPU. No changes have been made to the CPU yet unfortunately. That said there’s been very few reports of Elites going kaput in the States so maybe these measures are enough for now.
