Hi Dave,
Couple of things.
On the front page the number of new private messages is always ( 0 new ). And thats not because i have no friends and no messages! Can you have a look to see if this feature is working?
Also, is it possible to view a PM that you are replying to, like it works with posts?

Front page should only display >1 if you have a new pm, not the total number you have. Your suggestion night be a better way of doing it though.
Ive also seen some forums which do the [ quote ] thing when you reply, i could investigate that as an option for replying to pms.

No, mine still displays 0 even when I have new PMs.

Note you can click quote when replying to a pm to have it in the text box.

Um I’ve just noticed that my PM’s have been sitting in my outbox, and not seeming to go anywhere any ideas?

They seem to be leaving my outbox as I get replies. Idora has obviously received 1 (he replied) but now my reply to that PM is sitting in the outbox. Aphra’s one is still in the outbox as well.

Actually further to that, lookat my sent box, the PM that Idora received is reading as sent at 10:42 yesterday evening, but it was sent at 6.00 pm or thereabouts?
