I just wanted to share some of the online resources related to Indie game development that have really helped me grow my business over the last two years.

Dexterity.com: Indie Articles. Includes a nice FAQ.
Dexterity.com: Discussion Forum. Frequented by many full time indie devs (including me).
A shareware life. Blog by Tom Warfield, marketing whizz and developer of Pretty Good Solitaire
Association of shareware professionals. Global organization for those using the “shareware” marketing method.

The Indie FAQ is a nice start. It even answers the perennial “I have a brilliant new game idea. How much will a publisher or developer pay for the rights to my idea?” with an exact dollar amount (based on standard rates).
