Jaysus, it wasn’t that long ago I was the only token Northern Ireland member.. now there’s loads of ye!
I’ll be heading south to Dublin in June. Will be staying there for six months and then we’ll see what happens after that. Longer term, I’d be very happy to move to North America, France or England.

How come Cork isnt by itself! Instead its included in Munster! Its an OUTRAGE! A Disgrace boy!
P.S. Better quickly vacate as I have done my Corkonian duty, now I can retire to the west.

Dundee for the next year or so but after that who knows. I do miss Dublin but after a few nights over here and checking my wallet the next morning it rapidly loses its appeal. :D

Auckland (New Zealand) when working, Donegal when in Ireland, usually found hanging out with KookiMonster, and the rest of them, and perhaps engaging in the odd game of Magic (the gathering).

Harsh man, harsh. What about to each their own, and all that?
And yes, anyone looking for a game, there’s always a few happening in Donegal.

Ian Hannigan. A man with such potential, sadly gone to waste because he held an unshakable world view that his type of gaming was the salvation of mankind, and all others were just for nerds. May those who come after him learn from his mistakes and narrow mindedness and be better (or at least good) game designers as a result. -

So. I went and "stewed" on the Magic The Gathering (MTG) digs. And Stewed some more.
and stewed.
Sorry guys, but MTG is awesome. It teaches context, semantics, gameplay, rules, turn structures, stacks/queues, strategy, resource management, the works.
Anyone I introduce to it, gets hooked, and are better (possibly smarter people) as a result.
But then I’m biased, as, like I said, MTG is awesome.
There. I said it. No more stewing required.
B.

Bangor/Belfast here.
Looking to find people working in games (or wanting to). Next Month, I expect BelfastMEt to have a games related announcement and my day job, (Digital Circle http://digitalcircle.org) will be attempting to put together a "collaborative business network" for games folk so we’ll be looking for people to register their interest in a way to get a picture of the state of skills, the industry and possibilities for collaboration.
Get in touch!
