Well I am sure there were some good things about the event (I wasn’t able to be there) – if you were feel free to share.
I will see if there are recordings and let people know if I hear anything.
We might have to look to other kinds of events to keep ensuring informal networking and learning can occur.

So it looks like I won’t be able to make the Games Gig due to other commitments.
Anyone willing to write up a few hundred words for us on the event and take a few pics?
It would be good to have an ‘exec’ and someone involved in education. They could be the same person :)

There is talk of one at the end of May but I haven’t seen any formal announcements as yet.

Hi Martin,
well actually that is part of our plan but there is already an Irishgamedev group on FB and on Linked in.
I am talking to a designer about integrating them better into our new gd.ie design so at least we can have everything in one place and visible rather than fragmented.
re twitter…a lot of us are on there as individuals …but I guess yes we should have a gd.ie account as well. It is on the list!
