      Hello,
Just wondering – does anyone know where I could get a decent rendition of any official formula 1 track….for free?? :) Cheers

*edit* Actually, if anyone has any details of formula 1 tracks, speeds etc. id be very interested. As part of my research, im looking into recreating a formula 1 lap in a computer game.

Check if theres a Gmax game pack for any of the recent PC F1 games, they’re sure to be bundled with editable tracks. It shouldn’t be too hard to make a scale model of a terack if you have a decent map to work from

I did a quick search on TurboSquid and found this…

I exported it as is, into our training toolkit app, you can click below to drive around it online ( using Shockwave ) to get a better view of it, before you download it yourself.

      Hi Damien,

Feel free to download it yourself from…
      http://www.candointeractive.com/gamedesign/car

You can use it completely for free, for your personal website usage. The file above contains instructions, a sample level etc.

If you have downloaded the track, it might be an interesting project to also get a model of a racing car, and replace the van with it ( look for carSkin in the documentation ).

      Regards…
      Mal
