Damn it, of all 7 days of next week I will be out of Dublin that one day but hopefully it becomes a regular (or as regular as an informal thing can be!) thing as I’d definitely try to make it.

I’ll try and make it. Might be handier if it was a Friday, that way people from outside Dublin could potentially make it. :)[/quote:5f8aa8e42b]

That’s probably at least partially my fault. I’m back in Galway Friday to Sunday so the event may have been influenced by that.

it is a tough one, but after years of organising these events friday is better for folks travelling up from the country and thurs for people in Dublin who travel home at the weekends -so you have to alternate!

will try to drop in at some point on thurs to say hello

      Absolutely, the more the merrier.

Many of us have never met before, or only met a handful of times.

Often I bring a sign/poster and stick on the table so people who don’t know each other can find the group.

I can send you the gd.ie logo or just take it off the top of the home page and print out on an A4 or something….

Nothing worse than makng the effort to go into to an event and not being able to find people!!

      Aphra.

      Excellent idea.

If you can send me a high(er) resolution of the gd.ie logo that’d be superb, otherwise I’ll use the header.

I’ve printed a sign (thanks to Aphra for the image) and have a makeshift holder.

All I need now is a few packets of cookies and we’re all set!

nice to meet people last night and interesting place. One for a future full shindig perhaps – and they have a projector that you don’t need a 10 foot ladder to reach!
