What can we expect in the future? The EU Commission has launched a new consultative process with a view to developing a new legal regime governing audiovisual content delivered through a number of media, and any laws enacted as a result will also govern certain games so delivered.

It is open to anyone to submit thoughts on the matter (- so now is your chance to try and influence EU decision making!) It is likely to be an interesting page to watch. The EU consultative process is very transparaent and submissions of industry players, lobby groups etc will likely be posted up for perusal following the consultation process.
