I’m a big fan of their work ex programme and regularly help answer questions on beta testing over at the Lionhead community boards. So if you need to know anything about testing at Lionhead feel free to ask me and I’ll try to help you out. :)

Also worth noting is that you can stay for two weeks if you want. But if you would like to go make sure you book early as I was talking to Sam Van Tilburgh and he said that they’re already booked up til April. Of course you can expect some cancellations but you don’t really want to risk that.

Head off now and you can expect to be testing revolutionary RPG Fable and the highly anticipated BC.

      Hi all,
Having people in for work experience ay Lionhead is extremely useful to us. It’s not simply a matter of making up the numbers, (god knows our numbers are big enough already), we gain a lot of useful input from fresh eyes.

It also seems to benefit the people who come in to work with us. In many respects we have quite a casual atmosphere at LH so there’s plenty of opportunity to move around, ask questions and pick peoples brains. In fact it’s a great introduction to development at the oily overalls level. Who knows what it will lead to.

From a developer’s perspective I’d advise any teams out there who can handle the logistical arrangements to put similar schemes in place. Not only do you get additional test resources at minimal cost, you also get far more cutting and relevant feedback than you might expect. We’ve also found quite a few talented employees via this route. Of course not everyone can handle the test regime but the downsides are pretty negligible.

      All the best,
