InactiveI was in HMV yesterday and i saw King Kong the movie, on UMD selling for EUR 36.99!!! What sane person would pay over EUR 20 for a crappy UMD that you can only watch on the PSP. They are doing their best to kill off the format anyway. (I know HMV arent exactly cheap either though)

InactiveYou cant bring back UMD movies to Game, store policy apparently. I got given one as a gift, and tried to bring it back (unwatched and immaculate) but no joy :(

InactiveThose umd are a pile of shite.. Beta Max jumps to mind! I give it a year and they’ll be totally buried.
The only video watching you should be doing on your psp is ripping your latest episodes of lost, sopranos, 24 or your dvd collection and watching them on the go!
Got my final few episodes of Sopranos ripped and waiting to be watched on the trip back home this weekend.

InactiveRipping your DVD collection. Ah no what a pain that is. First you have to rip the DVD, then you have to convert it to the right format. Between all that on my 3 year old laptop, youd be looking at 7-8 hours of a job for a normal length movie. Feck that shit, although i still wouldnt pay more than 20 for a UMD to save all that hassle! Jaysus, what am i complaining about? i dont even own a PSP!

InactiveYour best bet is to queue ’em up overnight, there are some great almost “fire and forget” rippers/converters out there at the mo
