Does anyone know how to download brew??? It only seems to attempt a web based download and just does nothing after I allow the applet to run.

I had the exact same problem trying to download Brew from the qualcomm site, i tried in both IE and Firefox.

Once i click on the “Start the Installation” it does nothing, also the online installation thing really blows, i don’t want to install it on my work PC ffs!

I eventually gave up and just went for J2ME instead.

i didnt have a problem downloading it before. Although that was about 6 months ago. Its a good api and some good samples with it. Worth learning if your interested in making seriously impressive mobile games.

Actually, given the quality of some of the previous winners’ material, he’s pretty much a guaranteed winner now!

Works fine for me. Firefox was a no go, IE was fine. I did remove all the contents of InstallShield Installation Information folder prior to trying IE dont know if that made a difference.

well, it’s JAva: they want you to use their technology. It’s always funny when it backfires, though :P
