Giving some free (well paid in kind with alcohol!) legal advice to a friend during last week. He is setting up a company and wanted to do as much as possible himself to keep his costs down. While I would not advocate doing anythig too complicated on a DIY basis (a company law mess can cause a lot of problems and cost a lot to rectify) the companies registration office has improved their website considerably with “How to” guides, online forms and guides, and it is well worth a look at by anyone running their own company, or acting as a director or company secretary in a company.
