Hi guys’ n’ gals,
I’m considering re-investing part of the cash I made from flogging my DSs (“booo”, I hear) into a 2-player X-Arcade controller. Anyone here has (had) one? Are they as good as the hype suggests?
Usage would be MAME & Gamecube Ikaruga/SoulCalibur2/Bust-A-Move All Stars, mostly… for now. :D
On a totally different topic, any news/suggestions about the August shindig?

$150 before shipping is a bit pricey for a controller

It’s not cheap, granted. But I’m thinking of the durability and re-useability of the thing (PC/GC/PS1/PS2/XB and possibly next-gen). It’s out of my disposable income anyhow, better $150 on that than on a one-time slap-up meal, CDs or DVDs…

I was thinking about getting one of these myself recently… they look great…
I notice they have free shipping at the moment – do you know if that covers Ireland?
I currently use old PS2, N64, and GC joypads for PC arcade play.
I really love the ergonomics of the GC pad, so I use that a lot. The N64 is handier for fighting games where you need 6 buttons.I’d guess that ps3 etc will be backwards compatible controller wise.
I see they are charging 20$ per adaptor – that’s a little pricey!

I’ve sent them an email yesterday asking just that! :D

Note sure about that – check that story (unconfirmed yet, I believe). Time will tell, but between PS MAME, GC (SCII) and DC (for schmups) already, that’ll be plenty enough gaming for me with that beast, thanks

Find’em cheaper on eBay

I’d be grateful if you’d tell me what they say about postage to Ireland.
I think the single player one actually looks like a good deal, at the reduced price – especially if the postage is free. e65 for a high quality joystick.
