Hi, I’m a third year Multimedia student in DCU and I’m looking for people interested in being part of a team for the Dare to be digital video games competition this year.
For those of you who don’t know what the competition is. Dare to be digital is the biggest video games competition in Ireland and the UK. Teams of 5 sumbit an application to sell their own video game idea. 6 teams are shortlisted from the republic and 6 teams from the north which go on to the interview stage. One team from each is then chosen and put up in Queens in Belfast with top end equipment to develope you game with your team. Life doesn’t get much better!
Applications must be in before April 11 and a successfull team would be developing their game full time over a 9 week period from june to august.
My gaming strengths are in 3D work and I’m comfortable dealing with code. I feel an opportunity like this can’t be passed up, even if it’s to learn a hell of a lot and make some contacts. So anyone who feels strongly about this get in touch with me!
PS. please don’t reply with shite as per my last post. cheers.
