[/quote:0d51c4374f] I could, but as an announcement has yet to be made I may be breaching a confidence. So I’ll play it safe and leave it to Paul to mention next week at the Shindig
What I will say is that they had 2 projects to do here in Dublin – one was a definite and the second would only go ahead of they could get the right staff

InactiveUnfortunately, you can remove Santa Cruz from the PC&Console category…
60 people were laid off, the office closed and the CEO resigned. -

InactiveWell they have the Glasgow office that was doing mobile stuff last I heard. Their main office is in Canada. Think they do a bit of everything there, but definitely console.

InactiveTKO have 2 main offices, Dallas (handheld games) and Dublin (mobile phone games).
We (Dublin) are situated in the old MLE building on 2nd floor. We have 14 working in this office.
From what I know, DC studios are due to set up an office in this building soon. From working in the building, I have seen no office yet.
BoulderMedia are moving into this building also. They will be on the second floor as well.
Riverdeep are due to move in as well in 2 weeks or so to the 3rd floor.

InactiveDC STUDIOS, the Glasgow computer games developer, has acquired the rights to the sequel to the top-selling State of Emergency game from collapsed rival Vis Entertainment.
DC has signed an agreement with administrator Tenon Recovery and State of Emergency Development, owner of the rights to the game. DC will complete the development of State of Emergency 2 and arrange a publishing deal for the game and any further sequels.[/quote:19d8f58020]
Intro project for the Dublin DC Studio – complete an alpha stage game? You wouldnt need many staff….
Or is it too soon?

Inactivei still find it surprising that a sequel to SOE is being made, the first one was a good laugh after the pub and a few pints, but after 2-3 hours(playing soberly) seems a bit routine and linear.

Keymasterwe have Pavel looking into it. Apparently a company they were working with went under and effected them quite badly. We are trying to establish the full story and when they get back to us or we find out more we will publish the story.
