Stop being so smart Meedja, we’ve been on these islands awhile now, intelligence is disapating…..rapidly

Meedja’s ‘word of the day’ is even cleverer-er than I first thought, as (I have learnt) it has not one but TWO meanings, both of which fit perfectly:

      – A large group of islands
      – An electronic communications network formed in 1996 as one of the four original ECNs approved by the SEC.

yes, I imagine the architect would be quite jealous Meedja, quite jealous indeed.

As stuck trying to kill the 3 Barbarian guardian bosses on nightmare level. Think I”m level 49 or so. Have a few characters that I’ve completed ordinary level with. Play is much better in multi-player.

The thing about a desert island is you have to think about how long you would spend and how most games just wear thin after oh, 1000 hours. So no story based games, or games that really have an ending for me:

      Civilisation 1/2/3 (amiga/pc 90’s)
      Pro Evolution Soccer 3 (ps2 2003)
Frontier Elite 2 (amiga early 90’s)
C&C Red Alert with map editor (pc late-90’s)
      Sensible Soccer (amiga mid-90s)

Thinking about it a little more, and prompted by Greenbeans logic, I’d like to replace KNOTR with Elite (Commodore 64, Eighties).

I could have hours of fun trying to align ny triangle spaceship with the rotating rectangle of the spacestation docking bay. Fun Fun Fun.

“I could have hours of fun trying to align ny triangle spaceship with the rotating rectangle of the spacestation docking bay”

I seem to recall a similarly convoluted process with a ‘dongle’ held up to the screen, trying to authenticate the serial number…

      Or was that a dream?
