InactiveHi all,
Playfirst have just announced a Diner Dash launch title for the iPad which goes on sale at launch tomorrow. The app was developed by myself and Chris Gregan of Playfirst international (based in Ireland) along with a bunch of other nice people in our San Francisco office. A lot of the artwork was done in Dublin too by Kavaleer Productions.
Check it out here: http://www.playfirst.com/game/diner-dash-grilling-green/iPad?m=BLOGddggLaunch&cm_mmc=social-_-blog-_-post-_-BLOGddggLaunch
or check it out for real if you can get your hands on an iPad.

InactiveThanks all! In the US app store, Diner Dash: Grilling Green is currently the #12 paid iPad app and Diner Dash is the #5 paid iPhone app – happy days :)
Catbert – The green theme in DDGG is there mainly to provide a framework for the story and style of the game. We’re not claiming to teach people anything about being environmentally friendly, it’s more about providing a setting that people can relate to and have fun in. If it makes people think a little bit more about green issues, well sure that’s a nice side effect. Good luck with the games!

InactiveCheers Chrisbo
actually being straightjacketed into a narrow theme is kind of a bummer sometimes. I suppose we should be grateful on the whole ‘restrictions improve creativity’ thing…well, lets just see how well we do. At least we don’t have a commercial imperative :D
Congrats on your game, keep it green man!
