The idea is that each participant will give us 2 words a noun and a verb. we ll put them in separate hats and choose one from each hat (so we have a noun and a verb) to hopefully hilarious consecuences (such as "Eating Bus" "cat jump", etc etc
And how big are the groups?
as big or small as you want -

InactiveSorry for the weird question, but can anyone tell me if there will be computers/monitors at the venue? I have a laptop, but the screen no longer works so if there was even a spare monitor for me to plug into that would be perfect.
Thanks.

Inactive@ roundcrisis:
Just seen your post now, thanks for the thought. Very kind of you to offer. I just shared computers with the rest of the team in the end. The whole day worked out to be a great experience.
Thanks for organising!

InactiveGreat day yesterday well done to all involved in organising it.. I was absolutely dying going in from being out the night before. Our team and a few others ended up on Angier street DIT wondering where everyone was and in turn ended up about 40 minutes late.
Our team consisted of me(Jamie O Flanagan) , Liam McCreith, Darren Murphy and Jeff who we met at the event so I dont know his second name. We are all in Pulse College except Jeff who is in DIT at the minute.
We made our game in Unity. We built the city assets and dino on the day and took the tanks from the asset store, The idea is the tanks shoot the dino and also be destroyed if the dino hit them. Animations were planned for the dino if time allowed us but unfortunately we had a half hour cut off at the end which added to the excitement but we never got the animations done so he glides around.
We had a wonderfully edited video with 5 minutes to spare and the programme crashed when we went to export :-o typical ha, so we redone it very very quickly and exported it while the judge stood over our shoulder. We didn’t even have time to watch it so one clip accidentaly went in twice.
Here is the video we handed up.

InactiveWould love to see vids of the winning entries! Surely they are stored somewhere…
This is our wild and wonderful ‘Super Fun Dinosaur Angst Dance’ game, quite unfinished and buggy, but hey, 8 hours!? I have no idea how or why we ended up with this, we were joking about weird japanese themes and they ended up in it…

Oh I should add it’s a rhythm action game to the vein of guitar hero, we wanted to try something a bit different!
