Hi, my course is Electronic and Software Engineering and it consists of the modules listed below. I was hoping someone could tell me if the course is right for computer games development, as it isn’t listed in the courses section.
Computer Programming I
Computer Programming II
Communications and Information Systems
Data Structures and Algorithms
Hardware and Software Co-Design
Networks and Communications
Signals and Systems
Virtual Reality Systems
Students undertake a substantial project (worth one and one-half modules) in a relevant area, plus an appropriate selection of modules or half-modules in the areas of Computer Architecture, Digital Design, Image Processing, Software Engineering, Multimedia Systems and Computer Communications.
you’ve got programming, sw eng, algorithms, maths in 2 years, hardware and networking. should be grand. although that alone wont get you a games job. a good demo will do that, but those modules will help you to make a good one. you’ll have to learn simple graphics, ai, physics in your own time.
