      Hi,

Can any one give me adivice?

I finished a BSC in computer science in Griffith College Dublin(I got a First class degree) last year and have spent this year working in a small company doing bits and pieces of IT work but very little programming.
I now want to leave the company to try and enter the games industry. Can any one advise me on the best way of doing this, I am only learning c++ now because we learnt Java and VB in college.

Is another course (like Ballyfermot) the way to go(and if so are they all full time courses)?

      Thanks in advance

      Eoin

This thread has quite a bit of info that you are looking for. There is a good list of books and websites that can cater for your needs.

As for a list of courses, there is info on that in the Resources section.

As for programming, if you are wanting to get into PC/Console gaming, you’re going to need to learn C++, mobile phones/ web, you’ll need to learn java.

      Hope this helps.
