New survey in the US says 35% of parents play and that it brings the family together and 66% say the government shouldn’t be trying to regulate games.

The sample size of 501 parents seems quite small?

According to the survey, three-quarters of gamer parents say they are regular voters
Only around 40% of Americans voted in the 2004 elections, so already the survey isn’t representative of the typical American.

      sampled 501 nationally representative parents
I’d like to hear their idea of ‘nationally representative’. I wonder just what states were surveyed. Probably all of them are on the coasts were they’re likely to be more liberal.

*Please excuse my reluctance to accept surveys that mean absolutely nothing. That goes for those carried out by pro-gamers and anti-gamers.
