      Hi All,

      Just became aware of this organisation today. I am not sure yet how they fit into the Irish landscape but Shannon Development and Udaras na Gaeltachta appear to be involved at least.

      I will most likely be attending a workshop arranged by Shannon Development in conjunction with Udaras na Gaeltachta, the Irish Exporters Association, and Atlantic Technology Corridor in Ennis next Tuesday the 11th titled ‘Export Market Entry Workshop’, the objective of which is ‘To inform digital media companies in the Shannon Region and West of Ireland on export market entry issues’. I will try to give feedback if it’s relevant.

      Thought I would mention it as there appears to be a ground-swell of activity from many government agencies around digital media at the moment.

      Hi All,

      Well I didn’t make it to Ennis today in the end, pesky game development got in the way! I did, however, talk to Shannon Development and there are quite happy to keep me updated on other similar events so I will pass on anything that comes my way.

      I will also be talking to them a bit more about this European Digital Media Network but that’s not likely to happen this week in any case, just got too much on the plate right now.
