      Ok…what key events are occuring over the next few months that we need to add into our calendar…

      Dublin Web Summit?
      GDC obviously
      Trip to Tipp aka Games Fleadh…

      what else…

      we need to populate the calendar…

      and I think also a shindig is needed…suggestions for dates welcome..end of Sept?/

      Shin-dig, definitely. any chance we could have it in mid to late october? Afraid to drink around end of september as herself is due :)

      shindigs are demand driven…so…mid Oct. also sounds good…

      Mid October would suit me better as well. On a Friday would be perfect.

      Myself and Owen from Bit.Smith are also trying to organise a get-together in Dublin in October maybe we could mesh it with the GD.ie meet up?

      Also you can throw Shamfest 2012 down as an event next year – A week long Game Jam/Workshop/Lan Session/Meet-up/General Awesome Game Development Festival ran by Open Emotion Studios!

      That runs from the 3rd to the 10th of September 2012 and it’s gonna be suh-weet!

      A couple more game jams (not just in October) in Dublin would be cool, I don’t mind helping out if there’s people interested.

      A bit off but there is a meetup at the end of the month for developers of all platforms, we called it CodeBeers the 30th of sept in the longstone at 7pm

      not for all but, you are welcome if you are so inclined

      I’d be interested in either shindig mid october or short game jams 12-24 hours. Once a date and place is settled I can let the rest jolt know so hopefully a few more will come along too!
