      so out of curiosity, is there a time when the forums plan to be fully complete? i’ve seen threads from years ago in here saying there’ll be an edit profile button, *for example*

      typing a search term from the home page (for me anyway) only brings you to the proper search page, and forgets whatever you typed in the first place

      maybe i’m just used to the forum i normally use (which is sorta heavily cutomised anyway) but for an IT-based industry surely it should lay down a good impression?

      i would indeed really really like to

      but unfortunately i know shit all about coding for forums

      i do know a guy who could help though if he’s willing, he’s a mate of mine on the coppermine dev team who practically talks in PHP, he’s an admin on http://www.haxed.co.uk/forum/

      i mean there’s only 2 irish people on the forum, but you can’t argue with a team that can set up http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y197/Alick2432/17thhaxed.jpg

      that for st paddy’s forum-wide just for little old us (liam the leprechaun is sorta a tradition, he’s on an extra layer that floats to random locations over my screen on the forum)

      but surely the people on this forum have mates in other areas of IT. i mean i’m a games coder, what the fuck do i know about php?

      Well I can’t do it, then again I am a sociologist..

      more a time thing than a skills thing really. Everything is done by volunteers in their spare time.

      yeah i understand that, it’s just the stuff like”edit profle” in the feedback bit was talked about years back

      i was only wondering, i dont want people thinking im a troublemaker :(

      no worries. There has been a long to do list this year and we are getting through them slowly but surely…

      From the ‘my options’ section on the front page, click ‘Forum settings’. You can also add your profile for the skills section here by clicking on ‘My skills profile’.
