    Hi there,

For those of you who forget to take regular breaks, this might be worth trying out…

I saw a great reference to it posting on the IndieGamer forum…

Can it be modified to remind you to do a tap of work when you’re posting on here all day??!!

The purpose of the program is simply to irritate me? It did a fantastic Job.

Heh, true it’s a bit annoying.

    However…

If you change the values ( eg maybe a break every 15 mins for 3 mins ), and you keep ignoring it or it still gets annoying, you’re probably missing the point of it, or indeed that fact is highlighting an issue.

You’re actually meant to actually get up and take a quick break every so often, for health reasons etc. This program can alert you to these breaks.

If you’re being annoyed by the less frequent break alerts, then you might be working too intensively, and are maybe not being as productive as you could if you were more rested and had more frequent breaks to think clearly etc.

    Just a thought ;)

So are we supposed to get up from our desks and walk about every 15 minutes?

Of course, but I don’t want to give them a valid reason for it…..

    What the??

I was quite enjoying my breaks for the first twenty minutes or so… then all of a sudden it pops up again and freezes my computer.

Thanks for the food for thought. I’ve been quite concerned lately about the long term affects long periods of time spent on a PC can have. I’ll give it another try. :)
