Not to sound like too much of an idiot, but what exactly is GameOn?? I’ve looked at the websites but I still have no idea whether its a public conference where people attend lectures or a conference where you pay for a ‘table’ and bring your own equipment??

I would love to attened, but I don’t know fully what it is!

it is an academic conference where people pay to attend…usually when there is a call for papers people submit proposals for talks/demonstrations and these are reviewed and a small number selected for presentation.

however, if there is space, non-academics can pay to attend and if they are students they get a reduced rate.

      hope that helps

if you are interested in attending, even for one day, I would email them and ask is there space and what is the rate.

Just got a reply from Colm O’Riordan. He said there are no daily places available, BUT he told me students are welcome to attend the talks free of charge!!

      Result!! :o

Definitely attending as much as I can!!!
      Thanks Aphra!
