      Got this while searching for some Fahrenheit sales figures:

      It basically tackles the myths of innovative games failing and the relation between game quality and games sales through analysis of raw data (review averages and sales) from the PS2 era.

      I just like the fact that you can definitively say making a good game matters if you are interested in making very large sales. Strangely it may make sense to not particularly push for large sales if you know how to make loads of (real) cheap games and thus hope to make your money back on the small profits gained. I don’t honestly think anyone has based their business plan around that idea though. So when someone says "does a good game matter at the end of the day?" the answer is "hell yeah".
