Games progressing well, Playable levels. Just coming up to 21 hours mark. Lots of very exhausted but exhilerated game designers and developers.

All going well here in the Griffith College Bunker for the 2012 Global Games Jam, We have a Griffith NCAD team , a Team of foreign students studying at GCD, and team of former DIT students.

3 different engines being used , should have 3 really soild games to show off tomorrow.

well done to all at the Games Fleadh yesterday – there was a great turnout, helicopter in tow – which you can see on the front of the business section of the Irish Times today. There were also news segments on the 9pm and late news on RTE 1 television.

Well done to all the teams who took part in the XNA College Challenge Cup – esp. the two QUB teams.

Congrats also to the winners of the Engineeers Ireland game awards. I can’t remember the winners of all the categories but the following got awards – BatCat, Pufferfish, Superfunplay, PopCap, Tribal, Open Emotion and Gala. Great to see the small indies showing their games.
