      I also want to make an iPhone app, but I dont have a Mac. Can anyone confirm if the Virtual PC route works? My iPhone is costing me enough and I definitely dont want to buy a Mac

      You should be looking at building a Hackintosh. Plenty of guides out there.

      The SDK is only supported on Intel Macs but it works on PPC Macs and there was some bloke with too much free time got the build process working on Linux.
