If you could only have 1 handheld, what would you choose, GBA, DS, PSP, other?

      DS.
For the simple reason that I want a handheld so I can play simple, easy to pick up and put down games.

I’d have to go with PSP. I’ve never been a huge fan of these Nintendo handhelds. Well, apart from the original Gameboy of course. I think that the PSP should be a good way to pass that traffic-filled bus journey.

ya just watch out you dont miss your stop.

PSP is my choice, great for the journeys.

PSP. The DS games all seem a bit gimmicky to me. What happens if you loose the stylus??

haven’t got either a PSP or DS yet but was in a shop in New York where the DS screen was so worn you couldn’t play/see the game – doesn’t bode well!

Hrm although my natural dislike for Sony is urging me to say DS I think I’m gona resist and say the PSP. Having played both the DS still seems abit gimmicky while the PSP really feels like a quailty piece of kit…That may change as I play them more but truth be told I won’t be buying any of them! :D

I think the important point there is “in a shop”. You’ll always get scumbag kids who’ll break things in shops. Screen will be fine for a careful user. Think you can get some kind of screen protector should you feel the need.

I’d sticking with my gba for the moment. DS game catalog is quiet small at the moment and the machine is bulky, yet i expect good games in the future. PSP is a bit…meh, again games catalog is meh.
      GBA, established games catalog.

The DS needs its Killer Apps to appear (Puppy times) over here.
On the stylus question – alot of games will soon even give away custom stylus (styli?) that are game related, expect this to be eBay tastic.

(PS -eBay is evil, they should allow nerds to join, it is sucking my money!)

After a week’s break playing Meteos (and GBA Advance Wars) to death on the beach, well, DS hands-down… for now
