We are trying to get new PC’s into the classrooms.

In your opinions what kind of spec should we be looking for?

We run Flash 8 and VB.net at the moment (along with usual MS suite)

We will be running CS5 later this year.

I know we need lots of RAM but how much? Ideas?

Our main C drive is shared so thats not really a problem..

      Thank :)

Dual core processors would be fine. 4GB of Ram would be plenty sufficient too.. Though you could get less if cost is an issue, which I assume it is! CS5 is a little more demanding than Flash and VB, but really, you’d want to be really skimping out to run into any troubles with that software.

Wouldn’t worry about the graphic cards, whatever is supplied should do the job nicely.

Where do you plan on buying from?

Can I ask where you are based?

I know a guy who does this and he might be able to give you a decent price. He’s sound too but mainly sticks to the east coast and midlands
