Hate to break it to them but Agent 47 and Diesel certainly aren’t “a match made in heaven”. When has Diesel been in the least way subtle in any of his films?
Hrm hes also working on Hannibal…unless thats an all out action fest hes gona be WAY outa his depth…

Don’t be so quick to write Hannibal off yet, haven’t you heard that Yorick van Wageningen will be in it too?

Hrm the only reason I’m not COMPLETELY writing Hannibal off is that the story/screenplay is been written by David Franzoni whos also worked on Gladiator, King Arthur and Amistad. Then again I still think Diesel is completley unsuitable for the role…wait a sec….OH SWEET MOTHER OF GOD HES DIRECTING IT TOO… :?
I’ve changed my mind…its going to be complete and utter cack…

In all honesty it was only a matter time until the Hitman games got a big screen production, I’m sure we’ll hear words like inspired by Leon in its press releases.
Wonder if they’ll make any references to Agent 47’s ability to “disguise” himself….

Disguise himself into what? A good actor? :D
Meh the only redeeming this about the situation is that Diesel is a big fan of games (he owns half of the studio that developed the Chronicles Of Riddick game) so hopefully he’ll play the games and at least understand the character and general tone a little better…If we’re lucky it might turn out to be a mildly enjoyable, post-pub style film like Equilibrium instead of the piece of filth it’ll most likely be…

you are making one presumption though. So diesel understand the inner termoil etc of the character (or someone explains it to him).
its not like he’s a good enough actor to portray that. He’s a terrible, terrible actor and its sounds like a terrible terrible film. ;)
