i-mode phones dropped (nothing to do with i-phone)

News for any mobile developers.
O2 Uk are going to stop selling phones with i-mode. Lack of appealing handsets and consumer interest cited as the main reasons. I would expect O2 Ireland will follow suit eventually even though I think the k610im sold well for them over Christmas – good phone if you are not a developer, I sent mine back after a week as i-mode aspect was crappy and I could not manage to cable transfer programs/games to it.
