      are you aware of the activity on the IGDA forums re: starting an Irish chapter? Might be some overlap with the GD.ie shindigs, n’est pas?

      I had heard there was a move to set up a chapter..will keep an eye. Are they going to be organising face to face meetings?

      no plans for any face to face yet… but there’s a couple of us starting up a modding team to work on something using the HL or HL2 engine

      Yeah, I advise everyone living in the Republic of Ireland and Nothern Ireland to check it out. We are in early staging of developing the chapter as I only mentioned the idea a couple of weeks ago but it is really starting to gain some momentum. Check it out and pledge your support to us. One thing that I brought up was that we all have to work together. Hopefully GameDevelopers.ie and the IGDA Irish Chapter can form a close friendship and help each other out. Thanks.
