      Hey guys and girls.

      We really really really want to see the Indie Game Movie shown here in Ireland. To that end the lovely lads from thePlayer.ie have started a facebook page.

      The purpose of the page is to:
      – Co-ordinate our efforts.
      – To show the IFI / Lighthouse that there is an audience.
      – To show the Indie Movie folk there is an audience.

      So, if you are interested in seeing the Indie Game Movie (its really good BTW) come on over and give us a "like"

      Heres hoping we can drum up some support for this – I will keep trying to push it and actively try and get media involved where possible :)

      The focus seems to be for showings in US this year, expect European showings towards the latter of 2012/beginning 2013

      We got a response from Indie Game The Movie about the possibility of a remote screening soon – So we’re gonna continue to chase that up. Thanks to everyone for all the support :)

      Brilliant! I contacted the IFI and Filmbase last year about what sort of ticket sales, technical requirements etc it’d take for them to show the film after the IGTM people mailed me back, however neither place ever got back to me.

      Hopefully with the weight of a few indie studios like yourselves behind it them might take it more seriously.
