      It would be cool to have a thumbnail map of ireland showing game project activity.

      A larger map could maybe contain links showing images from the game, info on the team etc.

      With cool projects getting ready to be released in Donegal, Dublin, Galway and Belfast, it could start to fill up pretty quickly!

      I think that’s a good idea. Who better to create it than Northern Ireland’s number one game development related multimedia company?? That is if you could manage the time for it. ;)

      I think it would be very good for newcomers who aren’t aware what’s happening.

      :) If I get time, and there was interest from the admins, I could put together a Shockwave 3D map of Ireland ( sort of like the 3D weather ones ), where you could focus in on the different areas and see posters with blending images of what’s going on in that area etc.

      A company of leprechauns who live somewhere in the depths of Lough Neagh. Taking advantage of their buckets of gold and magical charm they have managed to rock the whole island. Hmm… yes.. that’s it… ;)

      If Aphra is interested then I think it would be well worth going ahead with. Maybe you could not only have company information but also info on colleges in the area that relate to game development. To keep it simple you could have an option allowing the user to display colleges and companies or just one of the other. All the information is already on the site. Just a matter of making it look nice with pretty colours!

      If someone wanted to sort of design / do some basic sketches of what was required, and collate the info on the companies / screenshots etc, and if it was generally agreed that the design was good to go, I could set aside a few days / evenings to put it all together.
