      I am currently doing a software development course and I have to go out on work placement from March to August.

      Does anyone know of game development companies that provide work placement?

      My technical skills include:
      c++, c#, java, html, php, UML and SQL

      Go to Germany or UK. Not many games jobs here.

      No I’m afraid I have to stay in Ireland. and I’m not looking for a full time job, just a 6 month placement

      Check on the company listing on this forum and try to send them your cv. You can also use http://www.gamedevmap.com/ to see a listing of all the gaming companies in Ireland and go to their websites.
