InactiveI’d like to see a few more pics. Looks cool. It reminds me of the zelda game on the nintendo 64, which is a compliment rather than a criticism.

Exactly what I thought.
Oh and Darkblood in your link for the avi, I am having trouble opening it. It downoads fine but at the end says “error source missing”.

InactiveI like the style a lot. However one criticism, the texture work on some of the objects isn’t really very good. Torque supports up to 512×512 texture resolution i think(correct me if I’m wrong). But some of the textures are extremely blurry and detract somewhat from the other visuals which are good.
Well done though. :)

Where?, I can’t see the textures you speak of…apart from some of the timber frames.

InactiveYep, on the fence, the wooden beams above the guy and the horse, some of the houses and the windows in some of the houses(2nd screen).
I’m not being critical for the sake of it, there is no point in saying everything is great when there are some areas that aren’t up to the same level as the rest(which is very good). That doesn’t help anyone….. :)

InactiveI have to agree with Nooptical on the blury textures, I see alot of it going on and also there seems to be a mix of styles. Like the horse looks flat shaded with no details and then the people in image 2 have painted textures on them. For me it gives the feel that it was rushed but also my comments have no facts behind them. I dont know your budget or time constraints.
I dont want to go on nit picking but i’d like to commend you guys on what you have created it’s brilliant to see stuff like this coming out of Ireland! I have visited your website and theres not much details on this game. Where is it for sale or is there going to be a free downloadable demo off the web? Also you mentioned a new avi, I’d love to have a look but I’m not too sure where to get it from as I couldnt see it on your site?
Cheers

InactiveThe textures are just as ye mention which we are fixing up, Torque can have 512×512, even larger. We have had to change & push the engine to certain limits to keep the fps smooth with the large amount of buildings, characters, props, sfx featured in a compact area. Overcoming this was one of the hardest parts in developing this adventure tour.
Full details regarding the technology & our experience in developing this product will be released on the 26th which will be worthwhile to hear & see.
Thanks for the comments & the avi will be released shortly with a new website displaying many details of this product. We are considering to release a demo version of this adventure tour, maybe even to release it on the 26th to who attends the event (details will be on GD.ie shortly).
