If thats not a console seller I dont know what is. Nintendo really have taken their hand out of there ass when it comes to the financial side of making games. They always made good games, but now they really are focusing more on what the general public want rather than what they want to make themselves. I wonder is this a good thing…..

I really dont know if it is a console seller. NiGHTS is well know by the hardcore sega gamers …but the hardcore in its self are a minorotiy let alone hardcore sega. I dont know if Joe gamer will get it.

Dunno about nights, I was talking Sonic vs Mario. That has got cash written all over it. Nintendo really are trying to tap the party/casual gamer market as much as possible. Its a good short term strategy but i wonder how long the appeal will last. Its surely only a matter of time before Sony and Ms start attacking the same market with various add ons.
Im not a fan of the Playstation 3’s high price but they have said themselves that they see a very long life cycle for the console. Hard-core gamers are going to pay 700 euros for the console. Once they have emptied there pockets, they will reduce the price gradually. It could prove to be a very clever strategy but the depending factor is AAA games. It doesent have any, and it doesent have many in the pipeline that are exclusive either.

Interesting to see how it will pan out
