…cant make all this world seem bright…

      $60million Dungeon Siege movie.

      Here is a trailer:

      http://www.inthenameoftheking.com/trailer_02.html

Nice cast: Jason Statham, Ray Liotta, Leelee Sobieski, Burt Reynolds, Ron Perlman, Claire Forlani (HOT!) and Kristanna Loken.

Horrible cheap font used in the trailer.

Looks so bad it must be good.

      *sigh*

Not surprised really, the man managed to turn me off Bloodrayne on the trailer alone and for an out and out action film, thats a pretty hard thing to do.

You forget it’s Uwe, who can make films that look so bad that the highlights in the trailer are in fact the only semi-palatable moments :(

The last trailer that I saw that was that bad was EpII :(

There should be a ban on making games into movies, it *never* works. It totally destroys good games too.

Its strange the way all these well known and fairly talented actors want to work with him on these video game movie adaptions. Why? Look at Ray Liotta there, he is a fantastic actor probably the best one Uwe has ever got, why did he do it?? dont answer its obvious – moolah

Happiest day of my life when pre-production on the Deus Ex movie was cancelled. They’re not going to wreck that game for me. I still refuse to watch the FF: Advent Children movie!

You are probably right there. Im not a huge fan of FF7 but i played through it once. If you never played it before you wouldnt have a notion of whats going on. And if you did play it youll be disappointed that the movie sequel to the story just cant match the quality of the games story at all. It couldnt possibly anyway, 35 hours of a game versus an hour and a half…

Silent Hill worked, for fans of the game anyway

Are we counting anime? Street Fighter II was pretty good…

I enjoyed the Resident Evil films to be honest, same with Doom. Its hard to argue the latter wasnt an accurate representation of the game though, lack of hell aside it offered exactly the same experience as all of the games…

I think Metal Gear Solid would make a savage movie. Kojima has been holding onto the rights for a very long time. He could make a good film director some day (if he learns english), maybe he could work on that as an assistant director if he doesnt have much experience working with live actors.

Get Keifer Sutherland playing Snake, Hed be better off playing Snake in a movie than doing a movie of 24. Dont know how 24 will do when it loses the real time format of the TV show.
